Lincoln Memorial University invites applications for two key positions; Assistant Director of Institutional Research and Assistant Director of Assessment.
Assistant Director of Institutional Research The Assistant Director of Institutional Research conducts institutional research and data analysis, must be knowledgeable in the use of statistical programs, is responsible for ongoing and special projects and reports to the Director of Institutional Research and Accreditation. Qualifications; Required: Master’s degree with coursework in research methodology and statistics or experience in the application of statistical programs and/or software. Preferred: Doctorate, knowledge of statistical software and experience in higher education work environment.
Assistant Director of Assessment
The Assistant Director of Assessment will develop, implement and lead the University’s academic assessment program and assist all academic programs and academic and student support services in the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of their planning and outcomes assessment processes. The Assistant Director of Assessment will be involved in all program and institutional accreditation processes and will work closely with faculty and staff in all divisions of the University to meet the reporting and assessment requirements of external regulatory agencies. Qualifications; Required: Master’s degree, knowledge and/or experience in assessment or institutional research program, department or university level, understanding of the theory and practical application of academic assessment planning and methods, knowledge of academic program and administrative office planning and review, skills in qualitative and quantitative data collection, analysis and reporting. Preferred: Earned doctorate.

The Dean shall coordinate the work of the school and interpret such work to the Vice President for Academic Affairs and to the university at large and interpret the plans and decisions of administration to school and university faculty, staff and students.
Depending on teaching qualifications, the Dean could have a dual appointment as faculty in the Debusk School of Osteopathic Medicine as well as the Hamilton School of Arts and Sciences. Required qualifications: Earned doctorate in the sciences or other field appropriate for the School of Arts and Sciences; successful teaching experience in higher education, record of successful experience in higher education administration and record of procuring external funding and conducting academic research.
Preferred qualifications: Experience in private higher education. Experience in supervision of sponsored research projects.
